Backups, bad smells, soft spots in the yard, or drains that keep slowing down usually mean something is going on underground.
Call 919-423-7595A drain cleaning might get water moving again, but if the same sewer line keeps backing up, there is usually a reason. Roots may be in the pipe. A section may be cracked. Clay pipe may have shifted. Cast iron may be rough inside and catching everything that goes by.
We do not like guessing on sewer lines. A camera tells a better story than standing in the yard and hoping.
If the sewer pipe is cracked, rough, or letting roots in, trenchless pipe lining may be a good option. It can restore the inside of the pipe without replacing the whole run.
It is not magic. If the pipe is crushed, badly bellied, or missing sections, lining may not be the right answer.
Some sewer repairs need excavation. That might be one bad section near the cleanout, a broken spot by the sidewalk, or a collapsed area that cannot be lined.
We would rather say that up front than sell the wrong fix.
We see clay, cast iron, PVC, patched sections, old cleanouts, and lines that have been snaked so many times the homeowner already knows the problem is coming back.
A house near Greensboro may only need a short repair. Another may need lining. Another may need replacement. The camera and the condition of the pipe decide that, not a script.
Roots coming through joints. Pipe that has dropped. Cracks along the bottom. Grease packed into the line. Old cast iron that is flaking inside. Clay pipe that no longer lines up.
Once we know what is happening, we can talk about the repair without making the job bigger than it needs to be.
Call if your sewer line keeps backing up, the yard smells bad, or the same drain problem keeps returning. We can inspect the line and explain the repair options.
